This last weekend I took pics of my friend Nick and his Lovely family. His little boy is so handome and was such a character... He was break dancing for me during the shoot and making the silliest faces!! I am glad I captured them on camera :)

today Brandon and I woke up at the crack of dawn and drove to Kingman,AZ to meet with my student Daina to deliver our 2 puppies ;( WE got caught in a storm but it was so nice :) we made it back safe... here are some snap shots...

Once upon a time on a far away land

Once upon a time on a far away land there lived a girl who did not believe in failry tales or a prince charming. She did not have any wicked step sisters or stepmother but she had a wicked broken heart. Until one day she met prince charming at work, he sat next to her and made her laugh and giggle and she was smitten by his charming personality. They parted ways but not for long until he went to her birthday lunch and sang her a song in her best friends car. She was suprised because he sang a song that only she knew and once said if anyone ever serenades me with that song... " I will know they really love me". Could it be that girl met a boy and fell in love completly... was it too good to be true that the girl's reality could actually be better than a fantasy. So the girl takes her friends advice and charms her admiror with her awsome cooking skills, making him the best green chille ever!! She goes home that night and thinks out loud today I met the boy I am going to marry :0 5 months later they were married and continue to live happily ever after :)

I had another shoot with my cousin Selene and Vanessa ;) Selene is turning 19 and how time flys by, I remember when I used to babysite her... Gosh that makes me sound so old :) LOL for her birthday she wanted some pictures taken because after her first shoot she decided to give modeling a try!! I think she is off to a good start :)

Chiqitita

When I was a little girl my dad used to call me chiquitita it means small in Spanish :) great description of me huh? Well I was not fond of the name... and he would always sing that song from ABBA chiquitita when I pouted or when I would cry for no reason. I would get so mad and say DAD!! I am not a little girl!!! so the other day when I was having a bad day and was well I am really emotional that song came on, and I cried because it brought back memories. All I could think was I wish my dad was here to sing me that song. I think as children we take so many things for granted, so as an adult I am trying to make up for those times!!! I never paid attention to the message behind the lyrics of that song and I loved them!! so here is that song!! it is now on my play list at work!! I listen to it when I get sad :)
